Umbilicus horizontalis var. erectus

25cm, similar to Umbilicus rupestris, yet larger in all parts with less succulent, dark green leaves and a taller spike of cream to light brown trumpet-like flowers. Seeds from a collection made on the island of Sicily, Italy, thus probably not hardy enough to be grown outside in Central Europe, yet a wonderful plant for the cold greenhouse or wintergarden in a partially shaded to sunny spot.
