Aeonium leucoblepharum

Aeonium leucoblepharum
100cm, one of the two known species from east Africa and an absolutely rare plant in cultivation. This is the only Aeonium which often grows as a real epiphyte on trees in the higher mountainous areas of Ethiopia. Can be successfully grown as a non-epiphytic shrub, without additional "climbing aids". Makes naturally small rosettes of about 10 cm in diameter of gray green leaves and red tipped margins. Plants can be derived from populations in the National Park of Simen, Ethiopia at some 1.000 m.
