100 (200)cm, an only 1999 by Bañares Baudet, Á validly described new subspecies which can easily be separated from Aeonium urbicum and might be treated at a species rank in the future as it is very distinct from the species. Makes a larger monocarpic stem reaching up to 200cm in height, oblong spathulate, mid green to fresh green leaves with strongly ciliated and red tinged margins under sunny conditions. The large, broad pyramidal whitish green inflorescence emerges in May through June. A very ornamental, tall species native of exposed spots in rocky soils on either the western and eastern parts of N Tenerife, e.g. in the Barranco de Los Silos and Chinamada, each at some 550m.
