Aichryson tortuosum

Aichryson tortuosum
12 (20)cm, very ornamental, small perennial woody shrub, similar to Aichryson bethencourtianum, yet with large, highly succulent, dark green, strongly smooth, pubescent leaves in dense rosettes, looking like a miniature Aeonium lindleyi. Makes yellow starflowers in a lax inflorescence. As for most members of Aichryson, the true, unhybridized species is rarely seen in cultivation, this is the true stock. From shaded rock crevices on western Lanzarote, 220m.
