200 (300)cm, woody, branching shrub with long, dark green, glossy, broadly feathered leaves and decorative, central, pendulous racemes with pale yellowish green, densely packed fruits. Native of the upper succulent to lower Fayal-Brezal zone on Tenerife (Los Órganos, Aguamansa), Gran Canaria (Bco. de Los Tiles) and La Palma (Bco.
