3 (10)m, climbing species with perennial, woody stems and large, bright green, hairy leaves and axillary clusters of most beautiful, quite large, sky blue flowers with a white throat. Its perennial stems require a climbing aid. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Winter minimum 10°C. Seeds are rarely available. VI-VIII.
