Euphorbia obtusifolia ssp. broussonetii (syn. Euphorbia broussonetii)
180 (250)cm, rather narrow, grayish green stems, narrow yellowish green to light bluish green leaves and yellowish green inflorescences. The seed capsules are nicely contrasting in bright yellow to intense red. The subspecies of Euphorbia obtusifolia found on the western Canary Islands growing in xerophytic shrub formations as well as open spots in the lower zone of the laurel forest. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. III-VI.
