100cm, Field Gladiolus has large, deep pink flowers with white stripes on the lower petals. Makes dense clumps in time. Native of Southern Europe and the western Mediterranean, growing in open grass land. For any humus rich, well drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Seeds derive from a population found in the Anaga range on Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), Bco. de Guarimiar on La Gomera (Canary Islands, Spain) and from meadows in northern Italy.
