2 (5)m, Tree of Wizards is a showy woody shrub native of evergreen costal forests in Chile. Slightly glossy, elliptic leaves on spiny stems and pendulous, beautiful bell-shaped, magenta flowers followed by round, yellow fruits. All parts are strongly poisenous due to hallucinogen alcaloids. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 15°C. IV-VII. More Details » |
