15 (45)cm, makes showy pale orange to brownish yellow flowers on slender, upright stalks. Native of sandy to rocky soils from northern Namaqualand to Humansdorp. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII. More Details » |
