Pericallis echinata Exclusive
30 (50)cm, a herbaceous perennial with broad basal, fresh green, serrated leaves, and an upright growing, strongly branching inflorescence with numerous bright pink to lilac flowers with a yellowish rose to purplish center. Native of semi moist spots from sealeavel to the laurel forest in the Northwest of Tenerife. Easily grown as a pot plant in any humus rich, well drained substrate in a sunny (winter) to partially shaded (summer) spot. Keep slightly drier in winter at a minimum of some 12°C. The form from costal cliffs at Playa de Bollullo (50m) is stronger in all parts than the form from El Palmar valley in the Teno region (450m). V-VII.More Details »
