Pericallis webbii
160 (230)cm, Pericallis webbii is the tallest member in its genus. It is a biannual to (rarely) short lived perennial with a ver tall erect, branching stem with large, fresh green to olive green, heart shaped, serrated leaves, white-wooly below and a very broad terminal inflorescence of numerous almost white to pale rose, pink or lilac flowers. Native of rich, slightly moist soils in northern to central parts of Gran Canaria. Populations in the West show a more compact growth and have broader, always pale rose petals. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny (winter) to partially shaded (summer) spot. V-VII.
