20 (40)cm, this is a rarely cultivated primrose in its pure, unhybridized natural form. Native of western Szechuan near Kanding (Tatsienlu, China). For a moist, partially shaded position, makes umbels of purplish red flowers, similar to Primula japonica, but with white powdered stems and leaves (hence its name!). V-VI. More Details » |
