Romulea aquatica
20 (60)cm, a tall species with upright leaves and white flower cups with a yellow throat. Native of seasonal wet areas from Pools to Hopefield. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII.
