5 (10)cm, a dwarf species with pure white to pale purple flowers with a pale yellow throat and short leaves. Native of sandy soils from Gifberg to northern Cedarberg Mountains. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Requires a good winter protection (i.e. dry mulch layer). Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. VII-VIII. More Details » |
