30 (70)cm, large, oval, light green leaves densely covered with short white hairs and racemes of pure white flowers. A rare and threatened native of Barrancos in south-eastern Tenerife where it grows in only few spots in the lower succulent zone. An easily cultivated perennial with a woody base for any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Keep frostfree and slightly drier in a sunny spot in winter. VI-VIII.
