40 (60)cm, Crimson Kaffir Lily is a perennial rhizomatous species native of montane areas growing in moist areas and alongside streams in South Africa (East Cape Province to Zimbabwe). It has showy scarlet, pink or salmon-red flowers above sword-shaped, yellowish-green leaves. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot.
