Sedum caeruleum (Blue Stonecrop) |
10cm, Blue Stonecrop is a rarely cultivated annual species from rocky spots in Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Corsica, Sicily, and Sardinia. It is a much branching dwarf species with reddish leaves and uncountable sky-blue flowers, a unique color in the genus. As plants are not sufficiently hardy, they are best pre-cultivated in pots under frostfree conditions in early spring and transplanted to a sunny spot in a well drained, rocky soil in the garden after the last freezing nights in late spring.
