1 (3)m, Silver blue form of the Saw Palmetto Palm, a monotypic genus with only one species from coastal areas in south-eastern USA, making dense clumps among pine stands. Short leaves ranging in color from green to blue to silver. Seeds offered are from an especially nice silver blue colored form! Please note that the clickable photo on the left shows the normal green form! Seeds offered have a high overall germination rate (> 70%), however germination is naturally quite slow in this species. If seeds do not germinate in the first year of sowing, keep pots rather cool (yet frostfree) and the soil semi-moist during winter. Keep pots warmer and sunny in spring the following year.
