200 (700)cm, Mauritanian Sarsaparilla a perennial, evergreen climber with heart-shaped, glossy, leathery, dark green leaves and pendulous clusters with small whitish-cream flowers followed by dark red berries on older plants. Native of sunny spots in the upper xerophytic and laurel forest zone on all Canary islands (with exception of Lanzarote). Plants require a climbing aid. For any rich, well drained soil in full sun throughout the year. Keep drier in winter at a minimum of some 5°C.More Details »
