30 (50)cm, Black Bat Flower from SE Asia, has most unusual dark maroon-violet flowers with long protruding black filaments above glossy, dark green, large, broadly lanceolate leaves. For a humus rich, well drained soil in partial shade (during summer) to full sun (during winter). Keep pots always slightly moist from beneath, reduce watering in winter.
