| 100cm, unidentified woody perennial species, probably belonging to the genus Vitex. Acer-like, silvery-grey, light green, aromatic foliage with broader leaflets than in Vitex agnus-castus, terminal spikes of small rose flowers. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot. Has small, black, flat seeds. Seeds from an original collection made at the border of Nahr-el-Kalb (River of the Dog) in S Lebanon, 180m.
