Papaver atlanticum (Atlas Poppy)

100cm, Atlas Poppy is a perennial species with numerous bright orange flowers on long stalks above broadly lobed, fresh bluish green to yellowish green, coarsely pubescent leaves in a dense rosette. Native of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Seed from a mostly double petaled (i.e. semi-filled) form. IV-VI.
