Participation Conditions
You (following "affiliate") agree to the following conditions by applying for becoming an affiliate at Rareplants.eu:
• You will receive a 5% commission on the net order value excluding shipping and packing costs as well as the applicable tax.
• Only orders are subject to a commission if they are passed onto Rareplants.es/shop by clicking on a banner/logo or link on your website containing your personal affiliate identification number. Your personal affiliate identification number is specified in your account.
• The commission is due for paid orders only.
• On purchase orders or orders without a payment the commission is due as soon as the order is fully paid by the customer.
• The commission will be paid via bank transfer to a bank account (applicable to affiliates within Europe only) or to a PayPal account (available to affiliates within and/or outside Europe) as specified by the affiliate.
• The commission is paid monthly.
• The minimum commission amount to be paid is Euro 10.00. If the total commission is less in a certain month, it will be transferred to the next month and accumulated until it reaches the minimum amount.
• Prior to the first due payment we will contact you by email and ask you for your bank details and/or PayPal account email address. Data privacy: We will NOT store your bank details on our server, but only locally on a non-internet connected PC !
• Rareplants.eu reserves the right to end the affiliation at any time without prior announcement to the affiliate; in this case any pending commission will be paid to the affiliate within 5 working days.
Three easy steps to become an affiliate:
1. Login to an existing account (if you are already a customer with us) or create a new account. Apply for an application:

2. Send us an email with the URL of the website where you would like to place a banner/logo:

3. Select a banner/logo below, which you like most. Copy and paste the respective HTML code into the HTML source code of your page, where you would like to appear the banner/logo.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you replace the XXXX in the HTML code below with your personal affiliate identification number to ensure you get the correct affiliate referral link to our website. Your personal affiliate identification number will be displayed in your account (see above) as soon as you will have received an email from us with the application approval.
Technical background:
A cookie (i.e. a small text-file containing some basic data for a visitor's recognition on a website) will be placed on the visitor's computer on his first time visit of Rareplants.eu via your referral banner/logo. On placing an order this customer account will be cross-linked to your affiliate account in our database and your affiliate account will be assigned the corresponding commission. On any future order from the same customer, the commission for this subsequent order will be automatically assigned to your affiliate account. This means that any future order from the same customer will generate you a commission even if the customer has deleted all cookies in his browser cache.
In most other affiliate programs referral links are cookie based only. In case that the customer deletes his browser cache (including all cookies), the referral to your affiliate account will be deleted and you will not receive any commission for a subsequent order from that customer. Some affiliate programs even work with timeout cookies or per-session cookies. In this case the referral cookie will become invalid after a certain time or after closing the current browser window. The result for you is the same, you will not receive any commission for a subsequent order from that customer. Our affiliate program works different! By means of cross-linking a referred customer account to your affiliate account in our database, you will receive a continuous commission for ALL subsequent orders from that customer!
