Sutherlandia frutescens (Red Balloon Pea)

100cm, Red Balloon Pea (syn. Lessertia frutescens) is an evergreen to deciduous small woody shrub from South Africa with elegantly feathered, bluish-green leaves and terminal spikes of showy bright orange-red flowers. Easily grown in pots in any rich, well drained soil in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-VIII.
