Salvia argentea (Silver Leafed Sage)

30 (60)cm Silver Leafed Sage is a showy biannual to short lived perennial from Southern Europe and North Africa. It makes a basal rosette of densely white-wooly haired leaves and a large, branching inflorescence with numerous pure white flowers in the second year. Easily grown in any rich, very well drained soil in a preferably protected spot in full sun. An excellent solitary plant for the rock garden. VI-VIII.
