Pavonia spinifex (Gingerbush Pavonia)

100 (150)cm, Gingerbush Pavonia is a perennial shrub from Florida, USA to the Caribbean. Pavonia spinifex produces oblong leaves and showy lemon yellow to pale yellow flowers. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter water plants carefully and keep them at a minimum of some 15°C. Shipped are pure seeds freed from the spiny seed capsule (hence its name). VI-IX.
