Xanthorrhoea quadrangulata (Mount Lofty Grass Tree)

150 (300)cm, Mount Lofty Grass Tree is native of open spots in rocky sited in South Australia. It is a trunk-forming species, loosely branching wit age. Like all Xanthorrhoea species it makes a dense crown of long, grayish green, silvery green, to dark green, narrow, grass like leaves and a tall, candle-like inflorescence with numerous, small, creamy white flowers. For any rich, very well drained, preferably slightly rocky soil in full sun. XII.
