Isotoma scapigera (Long-scaped Isotoma)

10cm, Long-scaped Isotoma is an annual species with a basal leaf rosette and for the size of the plant long-stalked sky-blue flowers. It is native of sunny spots in sandy soils in Western Australia. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Sow in pots in spring at some 20°C and preferably cultivate these delicate plants in pots. V-VIII.
