Stachys cretica (Cretan Woundwort)

50 (80)cm, Cretan Woundwort is a showy perennial from the Eastern Mediterranean. It has densely haired white leaves and makes several upright stalks with pale rose flowers. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny and preferably protected spot int the rock garden. IV-VI.
