Abelmoschus ficulneus (White Musk Mallow)

150 (200)cm, White Musk Mallow is an annual to short-lived perennial native from northeastern Africa to the Indomalayan realm and northern Australia. Abelmoschus ficulneus has pink flower buds which which later turn pure white with a small dark red center. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun and sufficient watering in summer at a minimum of some 20°C (optimum 25°C to 30°C). Best cultivated as an annual at a constantly rather high temperature in a greenhouse or wintergarden. VII-IX.
