Catharanthus roseus (Madagascar Periwinkle)

50 (100)cm, Madagascar Periwinkle is a showy evergreen perennial with pale green, glossy oval leaves and numerous showy bright pink flowers in summer. A good pot plant for any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 15°C. Sow flat in any rich, well drained substrate at some 20°C throughout the year, keep seedlings in full sun (winter) to partial shade (summer). VI-VII.
