Hypocalyptus sophoroides (Bubblegum Bush)

120 (200)cm, Bubblegum Bush or locally called Rooikeur is an evergreen small woody shrub from South Africa with three-feathered bluish-green leaves and utmost showy terminal spikes of rich pink, sweetly scented flowers with a contrasting yellow eye. Easily grown in pots in any rich, well drained soil in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-VIII.
