Stevia rebaudiana (Sweetleaf)

30cm, Sweetleaf is a short-lived perennial with upright growing stems and short terminal flower racemes. It is widely grown for its leaves which have been traditionally used as a sweetener in South America. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year and a winter minimum of some 15°C. VII-VIII.
