Juniperus phoenicea ssp. phoenicea (Eastern Mediterranean Hollyhock)

2 (5)m, Eastern Mediterranean Hollyhock is a tall woody shrub to medium sized tree with dark green leaves and fox brown round fruits. Native of rocky, sun-exposed sites in the eastern Mediterranean. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 5°C. VI-VII.
