Averrhoa bilimbi (Cucumber Tree)

3 (7)m, Cucumber Tree is a tropical tree with cucumber like, juicy and edible fruits with a refreshing sweet sour taste similar to the star fruit (Averrhoa carambola). For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants at a minimum of some 15°C (optimal: 20°C) with reduced watering. III-VI.
