100cm, a rare species native of few, exposed spots on vertical cliffs in the South of Madeira (e.g. Cabo Girao at 500m). Perennial shrub with a woody base and narrow lanceolate leaves and clear yellow, slightly fragrant flowers. For any well drained, rocky soil in a sunny spot. Keep drier in winter. V-VII.
