10 (20)cm, freely branching Sedum with yellowish to grayish green leaves on nicely contrasting reddish brown stems and dense racemes of yellow flowers. Endemic of exposed rocky soils and vertical cliffs at lower altitudes on central and N Madeira. For any rocky soil in full sun. Keep drier and always sunny in winter at min. 5°C. Excellent for a slightly heated greenhouse or the cold wintergarden. VI-VIII.
