Tagetes patula (Dwarf French Marigold)

20 (30)cm, Dwarf French Marigold is an easily grown, very variable annual Tagetes species from Central America. It bears several bright orange-yellow (our plants), yellow, pale orange yellow to bicolored yellow orange flowers above dissected, aromatic leaves. The wild species is virtually unknown in cultivation. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun. Transplant to the garden by the end of spring as soon as temperatures will stay above 15°C. Alternatively grow in pots in a warm and sunny spot. VI-IX.
