Oxytropis lambertii (Woolly Locoweed)

20 (30)cm, Woolly Locoweed makes a compact cushion of small feathered, greyish-green, densely hairy leaves and showy bright magenta-pink, pink to rose flowers. For any rich, well drained and rather rocky soil in a protected spot in full sun. An excellent plant for the rock garden. In wetter areas preferably grow under cold glass with protection from excessive winter wetness. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Elbert County, Colorado, USA, at some 2.050m. VI-VIII.
