Penstemon secundiflorus (Sidebells Penstemon)

20 (40)cm, Sidebells Penstemon is a perennial with upright stems with quite large, lilac blue to purplish-pink flowers. It is native of slopes, mountainous meadows and open spots in woodlands in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming (USA). For any rich, well drained, preferably slightly rocky soil in a sunny spot. VI-VII.
