Dalea pulchra (Santa Catalina Prairie Clover)

50 (90)cm, Santa Catalina Prairie Clover is a beautiful perennial dwarf woody sub shrub with small, rich purple flower balls above silvery-grey foliage. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Pima County, Arizona, USA at some 1.200m. For any rich, very well drained soil in full sun. Preferably keep plants frostfree at some 5°c in winter. If protected from excessive winter wetness it can be planted outside in the garden. VI-VII.
