Kniphofia praecox

120 (150)cm, a medium tall Kniphofia species with narrow leaves and several showy compact inflorescences in orange-red fading to yellow in spring. As the name suggests, it is one of the earliest flowering Kniphofia species. Easily cultivated in any well drained soil in a protected spot full sun. III-IV.
