Dianthus rupicola ssp. aeolicus (Cliff Pink)

20 (40)cm, Cliff Pink makes show terminal bright pink, fragrant flowers above narrow bluish green leaves in dense stands. From coastal cliffs in the Western Mediterranean. For any rich, very well drained soil in full sun. Not fully winterhardy, best grown in pots under frostfree conditions throughout the year. Keep plants drier in winter a minimum of some 5°C in full sun. V-VI.
