Libertia grandiflora (Large-flowered New Zealand Mikoikoi)

50 (80)cm, Large-flowered New Zealand Mikoikoi makes dense tufts of ornamental iris-like leaves and upright stalks of quite large, snow-white flowers. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot in the garden. Give a thick dry mulch layer in winter or cultivate in pots under frostfree conditions in colder climates with reduced watering in winter at a minimum of some 10°C VI-VII.
