Phenakospermum guyannense (South American Traveler's Tree)

2 (5)m, South American Traveler's Tree is an almost unknown species outside its natural range in French Guiana and surrounding regions in South America. It makes elegant, very large, fan-like leaves and a very tall and showy inflorescence with canoe like bracts and protruding white petals. For any rich, well drained substrat in a sunny spot throughout the year and a winter minimum of at least 15°C. Seeds are extremely scarce, this is the second time in 15 year that we can offer seeds from this species. VIII-XI.
