Aethionema grandiflorum (Persian Stonecress)

15 (30)cm Persian Stonecress is a cushion forming perennial from eastern Turkey, the southern Caucasus and northern Iran. Aethionema grandiflorum produces numerous bright rose flowers from late spring into early summer. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. An excellent plant for the rock garden. V-VI.
