Gossypium robinsonii (Robinson's Desert Rose)

120 (250)cm, Robinson's Desert Rose or Australian Wild Cotton is a beautiful, small woody shrub with showy pink flowers with a small dark purplish-red throat above tripartitely to palmately lobed bluish-green leaves. Gossypium robinsonii is native of dryish soils in shrub lands in Western Australia. Very welll suited as freely flowering pot or container plant. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-IX.
