Scabiosa prolifera (Carmel Daisy)

20 (30)cm, Carmel Daisy is a fast growing and floriferous annual with unusual large, pale cream flowers on branching stems. From rocky, dryish fields and meadows throughout the eastern Mediterranean. Easily cultivated in any rich soil in a sunny spot. Sow directly to the ground after the last freezing nights from mid to late spring. VI-VIII.
