Malope trifida (Malope Mallow)

30 (50), Malope Mallow is an annual species with showy red, rose to white flower cups above acer-like foliage. Native of sunny sites in South-Western Europe and North Africa. For any rich, well drained soil in full sun. Either sow directly into the ground from autumn to early summer or precultivate in pots at some 20°C in early spring and transplant seedlings end of spring to early summer after the last freezing nights. Seeds from a pure white flowering strain. VI-VIII.
